How long has IW Technologies been in business?

Since 1976. IW Technologies was founded by Al Moorhouse after he noticed a gap in the market. At the time, manufacturers weren’t offering trade-ins when businesses upgraded POS hardware, which meant companies were replacing entire systems even when much of the equipment still worked. He built the business around solving that problem.

50 years later, IW is still family-owned and operates with that same mindset…find the smarter solution and don’t make customers pay for what they don’t need. From day one, that approach continues to shape how the company works with customers today.
