Staging, imaging, and kitting services prepare POS hardware before it ships to a store. Instead of configuring devices on-site, everything is set up in a centralized facility, imaged with the correct operating system, loaded with software, connected to peripherals, tested, labeled, and packed for plug-and-play installation. This approach is standard for large retail rollouts, where doing configuration at the store level adds significant time and (mitigate) risk.

At IW Technologies, staging is handled out of our 240,000+ square foot facility in Elgin, Illinois. Hardware comes in, gets imaged to customer specifications, tested, kitted, and shipped out ready for plug-and-play installation at the store level. We work across major OEMs like Zebra, HP, Elo, Epson, Datalogic, Solum, MicroTouch and PAR.
